Build the playbook your clients' contracts run on.
We sit with your contracts team and its clients, write down the positions and fallbacks, and build the playbook up negotiation by negotiation. It runs inside the platform the firm already has.

A client signs one template thousands of times, and customers ask for changes.
Licensing agreements, SaaS terms and DPAs are drafted once and signed many times. What changes is the list of edits the other side asks for, and which of them the client can live with.
A client that signs thousands of these with its own customers hears the same requests on contract after contract. Where its playbook runs out, the question lands with the firm.
Where AI could change the work on a contract
Your team meets these tasks on every template and in every negotiation. Where AI fits depends on how your team and your client handle them now.
Precedent and earlier contracts
Before drafting, the team asks whether the firm has done this type of contract, and where the documents are. An index of the firm's earlier contracts is one way AI could find the nearest one.
NDAs and other standard forms
An NDA request comes in, and someone completes the template by hand. A short questionnaire on the firm's standard clauses, or AI drafting from them, could fill in that first version.
Playbooks and fallback clauses
The firm's fallback on each clause, and where it will give ground, is often known only to a few senior lawyers. Written into a playbook, that knowledge gives AI something to check each mark-up against.
Negotiation rounds
Each round means comparing the other side's mark-up with the playbook and updating the key issues list. AI could draft that comparison and the updated list, and the lawyer decides the response.
Regulatory checks
Today a lawyer reads each DPA against data protection rules and the client's own positions. A written list of required terms would give AI a first pass for the lawyer to confirm.
The client's playbook, built together
Some clients want most customer requests settled without a call to their lawyers. A shared playbook and an agreed review of deviations could let AI sort routine requests and pass the rest to the firm.
How it works
We sit with the contracts team
We work next to your lawyers on live negotiations and see how mark-ups and escalations are handled today.
We collect the opportunities
Ideas come from your team, your clients and our own research, and we weigh them with the partners on value and risk.
We build what the firm picks
That can be a playbook, a template questionnaire, a workflow or new software, starting in the platform the firm already pays for.
We work on the next negotiations
We stay beside the team, and the client where it takes part, while the new way of working settles in.
Frequently asked questions
There are contract review tools for this already. Why would we need you?
A review tool checks a contract against positions someone has written down. Your firm's positions, and each client's fallbacks, have to come from your own lawyers. We do not sell a tool of our own. We write those positions down with your team and the client, in the platform you use, through Workflow and Playbook.
Can't the Harvey or Legora team set this up for us?
Their team helps you get the most from the platform. Which deviations a client accepts, and when a request goes to the firm, are for your lawyers and the client to agree. We work that out with your team, one negotiation at a time.
Can't our own knowledge team do this?
They can, if someone gets the hours to sit through enough negotiations and note which deviations the partners accept. We bring that time, and the legal and the technical sides of the work in one team.
Isn't this a job for a strategy house?
A strategy house sets the direction for the whole firm, and you may want one. We sit with one contracts team and its clients. A Practice Assessment starts from the templates and playbooks that team uses today.
Will our clients still need us once they have a playbook?
The playbook covers the deviations the client already accepts. Anything outside it goes to a lawyer, along an escalation route you agree with the client.
Show us the template your clients sign most.
Bring it with the changes your client's customers ask for most, and the ones that end up with you. We go through it together and point to the clauses worth a closer look. For a view across all practices, start with an AI Transformation Scan.
